She has a beautifully rare blend of providing motivation, safely pushing you to your max while not being annoying or corny. The vibe is always fun and a GREAT cardio workout - amidst an industry that sometimes forgets how important this component is (vs. strength training only). Before you know it, the workout is done, you feel incredible and the rest of the day is yours.

I honestly had more fun in this heels class than I maybe ever have in a dance studio before, it was THAT good! I will say that this is not an appropriate class level for a beginner though, which wasn’t a problem for me, but is something to keep in mind if you’re a novice dancer!

I took the beginners class and she gave us a routine and let us record it. She would stand next to me and give me pointers if she saw I was struggling. She was very kind and very welcoming. I wear barefoot shoes now so I think if I attended on a normal basis it would be purely for exercise and movement vs learning actual tap. Which I would rather do a dance class so as not to take up space for another person who really wants to learn tap.

alle beoordelingen weergevenThis was the BEST class I've ever tried on ClassPass!!! You see all types of instructors and studios, but I've never seen such a beautiful COMMUNITY. Everyone was so sweet, we all went around and introduced ourselves. Not only were the instructors going around, helping us out and making sure we were having a good time, but the other patrons were teaching us as well! They were all SO excited we were there, telling others it was our first time and making sure we got to know everyone. The only other place I've felt such a wonderful environment is from a small church I used to attend before I moved here. Gina was awesome, Margarita was awesome, and I applaud the owner Andrew for this beautiful thing he's built. 1000/5 stars! I came to do something fun for my boyfriend and I's anniversary--he had no experience and myself with some swing experience. It was a safe and encouraging learning environment, and we stayed for the social afterwards which was where I really saw how lovely this place is. I move to Washington in a couple weeks, but this was WELL WORTH the hour drive from New London and I would 110% become a regular if I wasn't moving across the country. Thank you so much!!!
